Due to the current economy downturn, companies are taking measures like force leave, VSS, layoff and etc. We won't know when will be the last time we can have dinner together as colleagues. Me and a colleague decided to organized a dinner at Dragon-i to 'celebrate' our survival from the company second layoff.
The chefs posting for photo taking. The open kitchen enables the guests and shoppers to see the actual food preparation process.
The seating and interior
Xiao Long Bao and RM1 Chicken promotion
The chopsticks engraved with 'Dragon-i' in Chinese and wet towel RM1
Not beer, just Chinese Tea RM2 (refillable)
Titbits RM2
Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumpling RM9
One of the signature dish at Dragon-i. I received contradictory comments on this Xiao Long Bao. Personally, minced meat is not my preference.
Fried Rice with Ham, Shrimp & Fish RM16. Quite good but rather dear for 1 pax.
Sauteed Beancurd with Assorted Mushroom RM18
Stir Fried String Bean with Minced Meat RM18. Delicious!
Braised Minced Pork Ball with Vegetable in Casserole RM18. Minced meat, not my fare.
Here comes the promotional Soya Sauce Chicken RM1. Limited to 1 bird per table. Click here for more info.
Salted Shrimp with Salted Egg York RM32. Recommended!!
Sauteed Diced Chicken with Dried Chillies RM20. Two thumbs up!
Deep Fried Crispy Duck RM32. Spread some sauce on the Chinese pancake, add crispy duck. Wrap up and enjoy!
They have wide varieties of menu suitable for many. Try out the recommended dish and share with us your experience dining there.
