A pool party on a lazy, breezy Sunday certainly sounds like a good way to beat the heat. This alfresco poolside café is set within a palm-fringed garden landscaped to look like an urban retreat. So take a refreshing dip in the pool or if you like, just lay back on the oversized loungers and work on your tan.

There will be free flow of coke and beer. DJ Timmy will be spinning his trademark down tempo, groovy beats. It’ll be just like those super chic beach clubs at Miami and Bali – so we hope. Oh, lunch will also be served. Featuring more than 15 items, the buffet includes Caesar salad, cauliflower cream soup, baked cod fish with tomato coulis and baby French beans, beef medallion with spinach and fontina crust, vanilla crème brulee, and pecan chocolate tarts with whipped cream.

The dress code? Laid back casual but of course, bikinis and board shorts are highly recommended.
