Up on a small hill near the Sungai Ara area, there is a country club by the name of Setia Pearl Island. This place is owned by a major construction company, SP Setia.
On the 1st floor of this building, there's a restaurant by the name of Pearl Palace. This restaurant serves Chinese food and also provides 8-course meals for wedding dinner. You can check their wedding packages menu, here.
When you enter the restaurant, there's a scenic night view of the Setia Pearl Island township. A perfect environment for family reunions and dinner. We are all impressed with the huge and old Ginseng displayed on the left of the restaurant entrance wall, which cost RM 200 000.
Chef Wong and Miss Tan, our host for the night, introduced to us a few of their dishes. Among the dishes we had are:
Fish Steamboat 鱼锅 RM 45
This plate of slices of raw fish, tofu and different types of vegetables is served together with the fish steamboat.
While in the fish steamboat itself, there are fried slices of fish. For more steamboat packages, please click, here.

Food Promotions team would like to thank Jason & Gill for organizing a good dining experience for us at Pearl Palace. Among the dishes served, our recommendations are, the Fish Steamboat and dessert, double boiled aloe vela with red dates. Other than that, we have friendly and attentive waitress serving us while Chef Wong spent some time after the tasting section to hear our feedback and suggestions.
